The planetarium is a full sphere of 9m in diameter, with a glass balcony in its center leading visitors to their seats where they are totally immersed in the Universe, with the projection surface covering more than 70% of the sphere!
We installed a powerful hybrid system using 5 x 4K JVC DLA-NZ7 projectors offering each a stunning native contrast of 40,000:1, along with SkyExplorer totally hybrized with the starball.
We achieved breathtaking night sky renderings with deep black colors and very high levels of contrast, and reached over 7,000 pixels between the Nadir and the North.
“We reopened our planetarium, which underwent a complete renovation course – the stars and planets have never been so sharp!” says the planetarium team.
