New 4K SkyExplorer theater in Antalya

Visit the new 4K SkyExplorer theater in Antalya (Turkey) inaugurated by the Turkish President Mr. Erdoğan himself!

The planetarium was installed at the occasion of the Expo 2016, held from April 23 to October 30, 2016 in Antalya. Under the 12 m-dome, 5 F50 WQXGA BARCO projectors together with SkyExplorer software will take the audience in a tour through the solar system, offering them a unique experience!
The site of Expo 2016 Antalya includes notably Turkey’s first Agriculture and Biodiversity Museum, a tower symbolizing Hadrian’s Gate, a greenhouse, Turkey’s largest congress center, two amphitheaters, an artificial island and a Science and Technology Centre for children (where is located the planetarium).

Through its theme, “Flowers and Children”, the Expo will explore solutions for a green future, more specifically, for a “green life for future generations”. Its aim to develop the concept of ‘Cultivating the Future’ will be addressed through history, biodiversity, sustainability and green city.
