Orionis opened its doors to the public, revealing the powerful 10K 2D system we installed in the 15m dome, using 12 x 4K VPL-GTZ280 Sony projectors, along with our astronomical software SkyExplorer, and great planetarium equipment!
Christian Poiret, the President of the Departement du Nord and Douaisis Agglo, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Préfecture du Nord, the President of the région des Hauts-de-France, the Mayor of Douai, and the former astronauts Patrick Baudry and Michel Tognini were all present for the grand opening of this spectacular planetarium.

A majectic event was organized, with activities during the day and a show with 200 drones in the evening, welcoming over 11,000 visitors throughout the weekend !
