A high-flying installation in China!

With our partner in China, Merak Cosmos, we installed a 4K hybrid system in the 8m planetarium on the rooftop of the renowned Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO), part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

A great installation for an amazing site: using 2 x 4K VPL-GTZ380 Sony projectors along with our powerful astronomical software, SkyExplorer, hybridized with a starball! 

We were delighted to install this powerful system in the dome of the renowned Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO) which has a long history of astrometry, and plays an important role in national key projects such as navigation & positioning and deep space exploration in the fields of applied research.
