3DS Max, a widely used tool

3DS Max allows you to model and animate objects in 3D in order to make synthesis image films. 3DS Max is an extremely widespread tool whose use is taught in all computer graphics schools.

NovaMax, astronomical features

NovaMax adds the solar system to 3DS Max: all the planets and their main satellites, the stars of the Hipparcos catalogue are added and placed correctly in the 3D scene as a function of the date of simulation. Several levels of detail allow observation from the earth's surface as well as in 3D from the stars.

Using all the conventional identification objects (orbits, celestial co-ordinates, constellations), NovaMax allows you to produce powerful graphic animations while remaining perfectly correct from the astronomical viewpoint.
