To produce video shows with 3D synthesis images, it is necessary to have powerful computing facilities. The computers of the digital planetarium can be used for this rendering. But if the planetarium is being used intensively and if the production deadlines are short, the rendering cluster makes computing power available continuously. The planetarium computers can thus be added to the rendering cluster when they are not being used.

Safety and homogeneousness

RSA Cosmos can supply a rendering cluster consisting of machines which are exactly identical to those used in the InSpaceSystem solution. This will simplify the maintenance of the installed computing equipment since the machines are homogeneous. The cluster computers can thus be used as stand-by computers in case of malfunctioning of a planetarium computer.
