The users’ forum of SkyExplorer organised by the planetarium of Saint-Etienne

Last November, the first users’ forum about SkyExplorer software took place in the planetarium of Saint-Etienne.

This event was the opportunity for several planetariums to show how they use the software by taking part of a contest. The winners were : Planetarium of the observatory of Nus for the best educational use, Digitarium of Brno for the originality and Planetarium la Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris for the best use of the software.

Furthermore, RSA Cosmos has presented the new features of version 3.1 of SkyExplorer by organizing a workshop.

The participants also had the opportunity to attend a conference of Mr. Pierre THOMAS, planetologist of the ENS of Lyon, about volcanism in the solar system.

The event had so much success that even the snow came to Saint-Etienne !

See you next year for a new forum !
